Domain Name Transfer Policy
In this Agreement, "We," "Us," and "Our" refer to CDB; "Transferor" refers to the individual or entity desiring to transfer a domain name; "Owner" refers to the registered owner/holder of the domain name sought to be transferred by Transferor; "Transferee" refers to the registrant where the domain name is to be transferred to; "Registrant" refers to the entity capable of registering a domain name; "Our Site" refers to the website located at the URL http://www.contractorsdatabase.com. By clicking on the button marked "I AGREE" below, Transferor accepts the terms and conditions of this Agreement and agrees to be bound by them. Any questions that our Help Section does not answer can be directed to customercare@contractorsdatabase.com.

We may amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on Our Site. The amendment shall automatically be effective three (3) days after they are initially posted on Our Site. This Agreement may not be otherwise amended except in a writing signed by both Transferor and Us.

1. Other Agreements.
In addition to this Agreement, Transferor agrees to accept and be bound by the terms and conditions set forth at http://www.contractorsdatabase.com/info/legal/TOU.php. Those terms are incorporated herein as if copied in extenso.

2. Description of Service.
Our service is designed to allow the Transferor to transfer a domain name from one Registrant to the Transferee. Transferor agrees to pay all fees associated with transferring a domain name (please refer to Provision 6 for more details).

3. Transfer Process.
In order to utilize Our domain name transfer service, Transferor must have an account with CDB. Once a transfer request is completed, a confirmation email will be sent to the Owner. A domain name transfer shall only take place when the Owner confirms the intentions of the Transferor as set forth in the Form by sending a reply email. If, for any reason, the Owner fails to confirm any information contained in the Form, the domain name transfer shall not occur, and the Transferor shall not be entitled to a return of the fee associated with the attempted transfer (please refer to Provision 7 for more details).

4. Restrictions on Domain Transfer.
There are no restrictions imposed on which Registrant We will transfer a domain name to or on which Registrant we will accept a transfer. Thus, a Transferor can transfer a domain name from Us to another Registrant or from another Registrant to Us. Additionally, the Transferor of a domain need not be the Owner of the domain name sought to be transferred. As long as the Transferor pays the transfer fee and the Owner confirms the intentions of the Transferor as set forth on the Form, a transfer will take place.

5. Transfer to CDB.
Domain names transferred to Us from another Registrant shall result in the Owner gaining an extra one (1) year to his or her remaining registration period. The transfer fee in Paragraph 6 below does not renew your domain name with your current registrar. The fee merely adds one (1) year to your pre-existing active registration period. Thus, if upon transfer, Owner had two years left in his registration, upon transfer to Us, Owner would be awarded an extra year to his registration; thus, giving Owner three (3) years left in his registration. Please also be advised that domain names which have expired either before the domain has been submitted for transfer or which have expired before the transfer to Us has been completed will result in a failed transfer. In the event of such a failed transfer, Transferor's rights and remedies are governed by and limited to the express terms set forth in Paragraph 7 below.

6. Transfer Fees.
Transferor hereby agrees to be bound by all domain name transfer fees in conjunction with Our service. The fee for each domain name transfer is US$15.00 payable by credit card.

7. Billing and Fee Refunds.
Transferor will be charged the appropriate domain name transfer fee as outlined in Paragraph 6 ahead of time whether or not the transfer is successful. However, in the event there is any transfer failure caused by reasons other than fraud, CDB may credit Transferor's account fifteen dollars for every transfer that is unsuccessful. Transferor agrees to accept this compensation as full and complete satisfaction of any liability or responsibility We may have to Transferor arising out of or in connection with the failed transfer. Transferor acknowledges and accepts that any compensation provided by Us to Transferor under this Paragraph will only be in the form of CDB credit.
